Caramelized Tofu Stir Fry

Hello Friends,


Oh jeez! I'm sorry! I'm a few hours late on this post! I got a little caught up in things and lost track of time. But it's here now and that's all that matters! This is gluten-free/vegan oh, and it's delicious! This is a good dinner if you want someone to eat veggies without them knowing! My mom had no idea she had eaten Brussels sprout until I told her!

Ingredients: 


  • 8 ounces of hard tofu. 
  • A pinch of salt.
  • A splash of olive oil.
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced.
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans. 
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce. 
  • 1/2 pound of shredded brussel sprouts. 
 
Saute the tofu in oil. Add the salt, garlic and pecans. Put tofu and pecan mixture on a plate and pour a little oil in the pan again. Throw in the brussel sprouts, brown sugar and soy sauce. Saute the mixture until the brussel sprouts are getting a little golden on the ends. Add the tofu mixture from earlier to the pan of brussel sprouts and heat the mixture throughout. Serve with hot rice enjoy!

  1. I like this recipe because I want to cook it on my own and it was a challenge to me on how to cook it. Because I don't have any experience on cooking. I want to cook also a Stir Fried Chicken, If you have a recipe of that, can you post it in your blog? Thank you, I will visit this again if you have an update for it.
